Disclaimer Period

The disclaimer period is six weeks from the date you became aware of the inheritance and the grounds of your appointment as heir, or six months in cases with a foreign element. Please act promptly.

If the inheritance is not to be accepted for them either, they must also declare a renunciation – a separate disclaimer period runs for each child.
